Pour diagnostiquer les problèmes avec le service VSS (Volume Shadow Copy), dont les produits de backup s’appuient ; une fiche technique microsoft KB887013 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887013) explique comment mettre en place un debug du service VSS.

Ajouter un port en écoute sur postfix

Petite astuce qui peut s’avérer utile. Sur certaines Box (Freebox, LiveBox, NeufBox…) le port SMTP est bloqué pour forcer l’utilisateur de passer par le SMTP du FAI. Pour bypasser cette restriction et permettre d’utiliser un autre SMTP, il suffit d’ajouter un second port en écoute sur le serveur SMTP (autre que le 25 bien sûr !). Continue reading →

Connectivity problem with bracade firmware 6.3.0b

During IBM SVC (http://www.ibm.com/storage/svc) installation, FC links between nodes and brocade switches were not able to negociate. The negociate starts but never ends and the switch disable the port with no apparent reason.
