NetApp OnCommand HS Service down après reinstall DFM

After DFM reinstall, all hosts service were down.
According to the eventlog, this is caused by the Host Service certificate which is no more trusted by OnCommand.

I haven’t found a way to recreate or « re-trust » the certificate easily. This might be achived using the PowerCLI ?

The way I found to fix the problem is to unregister/register the host service. This can only be done by the command line on the DFM server.

To remove the Host Service : dfm hs unregister -f HOST_SERVICE_NAME
To recreate : dfm hs register -a 8699 -i IP.ADDRESS.DFM.SERVER IP.ADDRESS.HOST.SERVICE

Output :

Successfully registered host service ‘IP.ADDRESS.HOST.SERVICE(29336)’.
The host service needs to be authorized to enable
backups(local and remote) and restore operations on
virtual infrastructure managed by the host service.

Retrieving SSL certificate presented by host service …

The SHA256 fingerprint of the SSL certificate presented
by the host service is :
XX:YY:AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF:GG:HH:II:JJ:KK:LL:MM:NN:OO:PP:QQ:RR:SS:TT:UU:87:A8:2F:83:46:E4:2D:24:17

Do you trust the SSL certificate and authorize the host service
to use this server {y(yes), n(no), v(to view full certificate)} ? [y]y
Successfully authorized host service ‘29336’. Started job 19273 to discover virt
ual inventory.

Finish !

Tous affichent Posted on %A %B %e%q, %Y.

    A bientôt,
    Julien
